Poker Rolls
Until recently at my weekly poker game I would have pizza and chips and maybe a 6 foot sub, but one day I decided to make something different. I decided to spice things up by making foods you would not usually see at a poker game
This is one of my favorite recipes. The first time I made this my friends came over for our weekly Poker game and they flipped out. The recipe is for about 12 egg rolls, but they were gone in about 10 minutes. This is a great snack while playing cards at home with the boys or is you are playing in an online casino. It is not messy, but it is a little greasy, but if you wrap it in a napkin you will not get crease on the poker cards or your keyboard.
Finding the right snack for you poker game is very important. By serving the wrong foods you will slow the game or kill it all together if no one wants to eat the foods you have made for the Poker game people may leave early if they get hungry.
This recipe only takes 35 minutes from start to finish and can be mixed with other finger foods to create a spread of food any poker player would kill for at their own game.
Obviously this recipe is not for poker games only, it would be great for someone sitting home alone and playing at an online casino, or if you are having people over for a game of Blackjack or Roulette if you happen to have a Roulette table at home.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup cooked crumbled bacon
1 cup cubed cooked chicken
1 (4 ounce) can small shrimp, drained
3 cups bean sprouts
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (14 ounce) package egg roll wrappers
1 quart oil for deep frying
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, stir together the bacon, chicken, shrimp and bean sprouts. Season with soy sauce and garlic salt, and mix until well blended. Place a few generous teaspoons onto the center of one egg roll wrapper at a time, and roll up according to the package directions.
Heat enough oil to cover the rolls completely in a large heavy skillet to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C). Fry rolls a few at a time, turning once, until golden brown. Remove with tongs to drain on paper towels. They are delicious plain, or with plum sauce for dipping.
