Gambling Experience:
In 1993 on my 21st birthday some friends threw me a party at the restaurant where we all worked. Eventually the party slowed down and someone came up with the idea to play some poker.
I had played some poker before but never for money, back when I was in boarding school we would only play for fun.
We were all pretty drunk and were throwing money into the pot like it was nothing; at one point the pot was $1500. I could not believe it got up to that much, I also could not believe I won the hand.
To this day I kind of think that maybe that was my gift from my friends. I think they let me win, because never since then has a pot gotten over maybe 800 or 900 dollars, but whatever the reason I won I still won and that has fueled 13 years of happy poker playing.
I try to play poker with my friends at least once a month, and I go to the casinos in Atlantic City NJ about once a month. When I am in Atlantic City I usually go to the Borgata or to trump marina. I enjoy playing Poker the most, but sometimes I enjoy sitting and a Roulette table or Blackjack. Sometimes I will go down there and just sit at the sportsbook all day.
Recently I have started playing Poker in tournaments online. I have not done better then 7th place yet, but I am hoping to win one soon.
