Getting Started at Online Craps
Online craps is played in the same was as it is in the casino with some small minor differences. In a casino craps game there are 4 people running the table. They are the boxman who is essentially the boss. The job of the boxman is to make sure everything runs smoothly. 2 dealers are there to collect the losing chips and pay the winners, and the stick man who controls the dice, but in online craps this jobs are covered by the online craps computer computer.
After placing the bets the stickman will hand the dice over to the shooter. In Online Craps this will automatically be done by the computer. Once the shooter has the dice they may roll them. The dice must hit the back wall of the craps table before stopping. If the dice land on a 7 or 11 on the shooters first rolls that is what is known as a natural and the shooter wins. The amount you win is the same as what you have bet on the pass line.
In the event that the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12 the shooter has craped out and loses, but may continue to roll until they sevens out.
If the first roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 that is your box point and you need to keep shooting until you roll that number again. The shooter loses if they roll a 7 before making the box point.
My advice is regardless of Online craps or casino craps is to play the line and the come, either pass or don't pass. These offer the best chances for a win. When playing the pass line some casinos offer double odds or higher, you should take advantage of this. And my last piece of advice about online craps is to never double up on losses and always double your bet on a win.
