Gambling in North Carolina
For today's Roaming Review I am at the Harrah's Cherokee Hotel and Casino in North Carolina. Upon entering the 15 Floor Hotel and Casino I immediately notice the laid back atmosphere. There was none of the hustle that I found in all the Casinos in Atlantic City.
Starting my Roaming Review the girl at the check in counter was very polite and helpful. I guess it was that southern hospitality thing I have herd so much about. Once I got into my room I noticed that this room was furnished much nicer then the other Harrah's Hotels I have been in. From the carpet to the bath room finishing's everything was first class.
Well on to the Casino so I can do my Roaming review of this place. I decided to play some video poker. The Harrah's Cherokee Casino had an excellent selection of poker machines. I played for about 2 hrs and was down about 50 bucks. I had some decent hands but in the end I lost more then I won.
Well after that I was in the mood to play something with a little more human contact so I went to the Roulette table. Something happened to me that has never happened before. I decided to bet on 00 on the first spin and won. I won 720 dollars of a 20 dollar bet. I love my job doing the Roaming Review.
Well I have played and won now there is only 1 thing left for this Roaming Review, the food. I choose the seven sisters steak house in the Hotel and I made the right choice. I had a double cut of their prim rib. It may have been the best I have ever head in a casino steak house and gets a 10 in this Roaming Review.
And I am going to end this review in the Bar. On the Casino floor there is a very nice bar and I have to say the ladies there were beautiful. I figured I would mention that in the Roaming Review.
All in all I have to say this is a positive Roaming Review and I have to give the Harrah's Cherokee Casino at solid 9. If you are in the area you should check it out.
