The Excalibur's Roaming Review

The focus for this Roaming Review is the Excalibur Casino and Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

Check in at the Excalibur could not be easier. They have an automated check in machine that is easy to use, just slide our credit card thru and give it some basic information and 3 minutes later you have your key and are on your way to your room. The automated check in gets a 10 in my Roaming Review.

The room I had was the King Standard room and it had a dresser a bed a TV and 2 chairs. It was a bit on the Plain side, but I did not plan to spend too much time in the room anyway. The room and amenities only get a 7 for today's Roaming Review. I felt they could have made the room a little nicer.

Now for the Casino part of today's Roaming Review. The casino was a nice large Casino with Hundreds of slot machines. I decided I was going to join a small poker tournament that was going on in the hotel nothing big it was only a 2 table event but I did come in 5th place that's not bad so I walked away with nothing but a little pride. Oh well I decided to play some Roulette to try to make enough for a decent meal and eventually I made enough. All in all I give the Casino at the Excalibur an 8 for today's Roaming Review, it would have been better if the waitresses came around a little more often.

I decided to go to the Sir Galahad's Pub and Prime Rib House and I am glade that I did, I like the way they made it feel like you are sitting in a great hall of some castle and eating. And of course I got the Kings cut Prim Rib and it was one of the best I have ever had, and I will give the restaurant and the food a 10 for this section of the Roaming Review.

I decided to go for a drink after dinner and I decided on the Minstrel's Lounge I do not remember the name of the band that played but they were good and I had an enjoyable time and will give this Lounge a 9 in My roaming review.

I had a very nice time at this Casino and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in Vegas and I am giving the entire Casino and Hotel a 9 for this chapter of the Roaming Review.
